Located in Tianfu Art Park, the Xinshan Bookstore project was completed at the end of 2023. A bookstore is a physical space that nourishes the human spirit — reading and purchasing books are its timeless essence. The pink, sandy-textured concrete transforms the bookstore’s façade into a monumental bookshelf. Through the gaps of the hollowed concrete, the bookstore harmoniously blends with the surrounding landscape. Sheltered beneath this colossal “bookshelf,” the Bistro on the first floor offers expansive views connected to the lake outside the window, creating a restrained and serene atmosphere for readers.
